Can Polio be healed?

The World Health Organization states that there is no cure for polio.  But as Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)

The following is Jo Peace’s story in her own words.

“My sister’s family and I have been attending Sozo Chattanooga Ministry’s Bible study for several months now.  As the study on spiritual gifts finished, Dan shared with our group about healing and miracles that he had witnessed and told us of his anointing.  He stated that he had been blessed with the gift of healing and had had great results with people that had one leg shorter than the other.  My sister and I agreed that I needed to speak with Dan about possible healing.

Although I had received the polio vaccine as a young child, doctors believed that I had a congenital defect or had had a mild case of polio causing the right leg to be shorter and less muscular than the left. As I grew my limp became noticeable and my right foot turned slightly inward when I walked. I could still function fairly well, but after 2 tendon lengthening surgeries at ages 10 and 15 the problem persisted.

At age 52, I had a total knee replacement on my left leg which had borne most of my weight through the years.  By my late 50’s I had to have a brace made to support my right ankle during working hours because walking had become quite painful.

On July 24, 2020 my sister, my niece, and I met with Dan and Iara for counsel and healing prayer.  During the healing, Dan, Iara and my niece Misty Thomas saw my leg lengthen to its full length. I did not feel anything but a slight tingle, but when I stood both heels touched the floor.  My foot plants firmly on the floor now when I walk and I have not worn my brace since July 24th, the day of my healing.

It has been 5 weeks since my healing and I continue to be pain free and able to walk in sandals or tennis shoes with no brace.  I am so thankful for Dan, Iara and their healing ministry through Jesus Christ.”

One of the blessings of our Bible Study is that we have seen several in our group minister healing and deliverance to others including to Iara and myself.  Others are stepping out and are using newly discovered gifts to bless others and again, Iara and I have been recipients of some of those giftings.  To God be the glory!

Blessings in Christ,
Dan and Iara Pinckney
